Nicole Evelyn Benkouar is a multidisciplinary artist based in Melbourne, Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from RMIT University (2017).
Working across oil painting, taxidermy and entomology, her practice is rooted in an enduring fascination with the palette, textures and quiet transformations of the natural world.
Grounded in fieldwork and quiet observation, her work explores the tension between fragility and structure, mapping geological time against the intricate forms found in nature. Earth, salt, pigment and specimens meet in works that honour both landscape and life’s smallest architectures.
